Third baseman Shea Hillenbrand had 4 hits at the ballpark as the Dyersville
Jurassics beat the Columbus Crowd by the count of 3 to 2.
Tim Wakefield(4-6) gave Dyersville a solid outing. He went 8 and 1/3 innings
surrendering 7 hits and 2 walks. Columbus threatened in the 9th but
Dyersville was able to put down the rally.
Joe Nathan recorded the save, his 9th. Odalis Perez(3-4) was the loser. It
was another victory for Dyersville at the ballpark. Now their winning streak
stands at 6 games. Frank Lopeman was very irritated after the contest. 'Just
our luck to run into a team that's playing like a juggernaut right now. I
have to congratulate Jim Aldrich on his team's recent performance. A very
impressive run.'
